Main research fields

Biomedical signal processing, machine learning techniques, and computational models mainly focused on movement monitoring and experimental setups for neurorehabilitation.

Something about me…

My Master’s degree in Bioengineering and my recent internship experience at KU Leuven in Belgium have enriched my knowledge in the field of biomedical signal processing and machine learning. Motivated by my great passion for bioengineering, I chose to undertake a research fellowship, which is currently ongoing, to further expand my skills and contribute to research in this challenging field.
I’m currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Robotics working on collaborative neuromotor and cognitive rehabilitation, one of the two use cases of the MYRTUS EU project, which sponsored my scholarship.

Research projects

  • MYRTUSMulti-layer 360° dYnamic orchestrion and interopeRable design environmenT for compute-continUum Systems”, HORIZON  project,  financed by the EU Commission
  • PRIN 2022 Project “VISIONARY – Advanced VISual feedback for neurorehabilitatION systems based on virtuAl RealitY”
