Medical Devices and Signal Processing Lab is the biomedical engineering lab of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of Cagliari, and it is specialized in advanced biomedical signal processing, applied machine learning, and the development of medical devices and systems.
Unique for its expertise at the University of Cagliari, MeDSP activity ranges from basic science to applied and industrial research, with strong relationships with the partnering lab DEALAB, headed by Prof. Annalisa Bonfiglio. Our daily challenge is to pursue the highest levels of specialization in the field to produce high-quality research and significantly contribute to solving real healthcare problems by means of digital solutions. Several partnerships with other academic institutions and companies from all over the world help us pursue our mission.
