REACHING Cagliari
By plane
Cagliari is connected to the most important european cities thanks to the Elmas – Mario Mameli international airport. The airport is about 10 km from the town and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the city centre by taxi/car/shuttle or train. Car Rental agencies are easy to be found by the Arrivals Area. A train service from/to airport of Cagliari-Elmas and Piazza Matteotti is available.

Train Service
Cagliari-Elmas airport / City centre
A connection between the airport and the city center is also available by train. The rail service starts at about 5am and ends after 9pm. The journey to and from city centre takes about 5-7 mins, single fare is 1.25 euros. Tickets are sold by Trenitalia at the vending machine located inside the station, online and by official ticket counters and authorized dealers. The airport train station is just a 5 minutes’ walk from the air terminal.
