Quality Assurance (QA) System

Quality Assurance Officer: Marta Pellegrini.
This member of the decentralized structure of the University Quality Assurance Presidium (PQA) supports the PhD program, and in particular the Coordinator, in the proper implementation of the QA system. He/she performs a liaison and coordination function between the PhD program and the central PQA structure, reporting to the latter any specific situations and/or situations of general interest.

Self-Evaluation Commission (SEC)
It is responsible for monitoring research and teaching activities and for quality assurance. In particular, it carries out the following tasks::

  • proposes the organization and related functions, responsibilities, and timelines for the Quality Assurance (QA) of the Doctoral Program (CdD);
  • verifies compliance with the conditions for periodic accreditation of the CdD;
  • verifies and evaluates interventions aimed at improving the management of the CdD;
  • Verifies and thoroughly analyzes the consistency of the objectives and the general structure of the CdD;
  • monitors the data received regarding doctoral students;
  • proposes improvement actions;
  • prepares the summary and cyclical Review Report;
  • prepares the Annual Monitoring Report.
