The town hall meeting of the SIGCHI-Italy will be held in conjunction with CHItaly, on September the 18th at 18:00.
The deadline for submitting a demo or a poster contribution to CHItaly has been extended to July the 20th.

We are happy to announce that SIGCHI-Italy is an Educational Partner of the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF), which kindly offers two professional memberships to be awarded to the best papers at CHItaly 2017, valued 156 USD each.
The committee will award the best paper in the long papers track and the best student paper in the Doctoral Consortium.
We are glad to inform participants that the authors of the best papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work to be considered for publication in a special issue of the Springer journal Multimedia Tools and Applications (I.F. 1.530) with title “Selected Topics from CHItaly 2017”.
The deadline for submitting Doctoral Consortium papers has been extended to July 16th.

The social dinner will be hosted at the “Convento di San Giuseppe”, a medieval church adapted as a monastery in the 17th century and now a beautiful location where it is possible to taste traditional and innovative dishes of the Sardinian cuisine.
