The Laboratory of IT Law and Forensic Computing

The ICT4Law&Forensics Laboratory (Laboratory of IT Law and Forensic Computing), whose activities are coordinated by Prof. Massimo Farina, was established on 15 April 2014 within the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (DIEE) of the University of Cagliari.
The Laboratory was founded with the purpose of fostering scholarly research, advanced teaching, and scientific analysis in the principal disciplines arising from the interaction between Law and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

Since the 2013/2014 Academic Year, the Laboratory has been organizing the Forensic Computing Seminar, a specialized educational initiative involving academics and practitioners in the field of Digital Forensics, including members of law enforcement agencies, members of the judiciary, court-appointed forensic experts, and legal practitioners.
