🔬 Group Overview

The HTC process for various types of waste, particularly waste with high water content such as sewage sludge and digestates, is the subject of extensive research and analysis at the Fuel and Energy Conversion Laboratory at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. A 5-liter research reactor allows for control of process parameters over a wide pressure range (maximum 30 bar), and we also have access to a 120-liter reactor. Experimental studies are being conducted to assess the impact of HTC parameters on the properties of the final solid and liquid products, and these studies are being analyzed for various applications and the potential recovery of valuable components.

⚙️
In laboratory there are full equipment to chemical analysis for liquid and solid materials, also we have experiment with purification liquid effluent and recovery of elements (e.g., struvite).
