La Collezione di fossili dell’Ordoviciano sardo
La “Collezione di fossili dell’Ordoviciano sardo” comprende numerosi reperti provenienti dalla Sardegna meridionale, principalmente dalle località di Fluminimaggiore, Portixeddu e Bruncu Mitza di Rosa. La Collezione OS è costituita da una fauna molto varia, dominata da brachiopodi, briozoi e resti di cistoidi, sia sotto forma di placche isolate che di frammenti di steli. Tra i brachiopodi sono abbondanti i generi Lingula e Orthis, in generale rappresentati da valve incomplete che conservano l’ornamentazione.
