The 10th AIT International Conference

The Italian Society of Remote Sensing – AIT invites you to attend the 10th AIT International Conference “Planet Care from Space”. The event will take place in Cagliari (Italy), June 30 – July 2, 2020.

The AIT Conferences, workshops, seminars and summer schools on Remote Sensing have a long and successful history along the last 30 years. Since 2016, the AIT Conferences subsequently took place every 2 years, moving in addition to an international connotation.

The 2020 Conference will provide opportunities for both creating a scientific-operational “networking” and giving presentations on a wide range of theoretical and applied topics. The “Planet Care from Space” title is mainly addressed to Geo-Envi-Hazards and Climate Change investigations, recognizing and reinforcing the important role of Remote Sensing technologies for both global environmental protection and mitigation of the climate changes effects in our society.

New showcases and applications by young technicians/researchers will be an important part of this conference, enhancing the role of the integrated knowledge of environmental dynamics and their interactions with human activities.

In addition, new data from UAVs platforms will be part of a dedicated happening “Drone Event”, where pilots’ ability and image processing performances will be involved in a race.

The AIT 2020 conference premise will be in Cagliari at the EXMA – “Exhibiting and Moving Arts” area, closed to the ancient and central zone of Castello in a highly prestigious setting located in the center of Cagliari, connected with the popular beach of Poetto.

“Planet care from Space” is able to provide customized exhibition spaces and/or communication stations.

AIT2020 & ICCSA2020
