VISIONARY Project at ICNR 2024: New perspectives on hybrid body-machine interface
The outcomes of the VISIONARY project were presented at the ICNR 2024 (International Conference on NeuroRehabilitation), held in La Granja, Spain, from November 5 to 8, 2024. The research team contributed an oral presentation entitled “Testing linear or non linear mapping algorithms for a hybrid body-machine interface that combines movement and muscle signals,” authored by Camilla Pierella, Fabio Rizzoglio, Matilde Inglese, and Maura Casadio. The study investigates the efficacy of mapping algorithms for the optimization of neural-motor interfaces. Confirming the scientific relevance of the presented research, this work provided the foundation for drafting and formally submitting an extended article to a peer-reviewed scientific journal. Further details regarding the event program are available on the official ICNR 2024 website.
