Research Output
The RuBusT project will run from September 2025 to September 2027, with results updated progressively as the research advances. Its main expected outcomes include:
Impact-oriented output
- the mapping of key actors involved in business transfer processes in rural contexts, designed to facilitate the creation of a network;
- the dissemination of awareness-raising materials (policy briefs, infographics, practical guidelines) addressed to businesses, local communities, and policymakers;
- a Business Transfer Strategy for remote rural areas, conceived as a model and source of inspiration for other European rural contexts.
Academic output
- a systematic or scoping review of the literature on business transfers;
- an empirical article on the participatory research experience, analysing business transfer as a tool for socio-economic revitalisation in rural areas.
