Fabio Vivarelli

Psychologist registered with the Emilia-Romagna Register of Psychologists no. 11979 A.
I graduated with honors in School and Community Psychology from the University of Bologna, with a thesis on Adventure Education and Adventure Therapy, in which I explored the effects of nature-based interventions on adolescent mental health.
I completed my professional internship at the Childhood Psychopedagogical Coordination Service of the social services of the Municipality of Forlimpopoli, where I collaborated on the design of prevention and health promotion interventions for nurseries, preschools, and primary schools in the Forlì area. In this context, I acquired specific skills in implementing interventions based on the outdoor education methodology. I worked within multidisciplinary teams, with the aim of intervening early in problematic situations and identifying risk and protective factors for children’s development.
I have also gained field experience in residential communities for minors and in apartment homes for adults with varying degrees of mental and physical disabilities. This experience has allowed me to develop a concrete and sensitive understanding of the complexities of mental health, honing my skills in managing complex situations.
My passion for health promotion and commitment to ongoing training guide me in the search for increasingly effective strategies to address emerging challenges in the psychological field. I believe that to adequately address the critical issues that arise throughout life, complex and integrated methodologies are necessary, capable of embracing the person as a whole.
From this perspective, I favor the health psychology approach, which directs my work toward supporting the individual as a whole, taking into account the interactions between psychological, physical, relational, social, and environmental dimensions. I am committed to adapting and integrating existing methodologies flexibly and sensitively, depending on different contexts and situations, promoting holistic, lasting, and inclusive psychological well-being.
