ORF – Officina di Ricerche Fenomenologiche (Phenomenological Research Workshop), is an Interuniversity Research Centre, made up of the following member Universities:

Since 2016, there has been a common interest in the study of phenomenological issues and their developments in the 20th century, as well as a consolidated scientific activity of philological and theoretical investigation and translation of texts previously unpublished in Italy, witnessed over the years by seminar works, international and national workshops and the publication of books and essays, also of international relevance.

Officially constituted on 11th March 2025, with administrative headquarters at the University of Cagliari – Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, Philosophy, the Center aims in particular at:

  • promoting phenomenological research;
  • continuing the activity of editing and translating fundamental texts of international phenomenological production;
  • stimulating scientific research activity, both individual and collective, also of international relevance;
  • fostering conference and seminar activity for exchange and discussion (also in virtual mode);
  • organising spaces and opportunities for higher education;
  • encouraging scientific dissemination activities.
