The University of Cagliari (UniCa), the Internet Service Providers Tiscali and Linkem, the INFN and the UniCa spinoffs GreenShare and Flosslab, are the winners of project funding provided by the Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico (MISE) to develop smart monitoring applications based on 5G communication technologies. This is a very important goal for the Net4U, which is also involved in this award.
The project aims to develop two use-cases: the former is focused on monitoring people mobility with the objective to optimize the management of public services, whereas the latter is focused on monitoring and management of water services and water quality. Go to the project website here.
