The “MyPasS: Mobility for passengers as a Service” project financed by the MIUR Ministry of Education, University and Research as part of industrial research projects and experimental development in the 12 areas of specialization identified in the 2015-2020 PNR, referred to in the D.D. of 13 July 2017 n. 1735, which sees the participation of 9 partners, has the general objective of accelerating the implementation and promoting the scalability of MaaS systems (in which a complete range of mobility services is provided to customers/users by mobility operators through a model in which a customer/user’s main transportation needs are met by a single interface and are offered by a service provider).
Net4U contributes to the project with the definition of an IoT architecture for the monitoring of the status of the transport services that are potentially integrated into a single MaaS solution. An accurate knowledge of the services allows for an optimization of the resource allocations and for providing a high level of quality of experience to the final users.
