The HuTwin (Human Cyber Twin architecture for the representation of user emotions and experience) project focuses on defining a Human Cyber Twin (HCT), which is a digital representation of the user. The HCT describes the user’s objective characteristics, including slow dynamics (such as gender, age, and preferences), as well as faster dynamics related to emotions and perceived Quality of Experience (QoE) during immersive communications. The HCT aims to support systems for immersive communications that are human-centric and take into account the user’s state and perceived QoE. To estimate emotions and QoE, analysis of facial expressions, vocal characteristics, and body movements are utilized.
