From November 25th to 29th, our PhD students Gulnaz Bingol, MohammadAli Hamidi, and Marco Garau participated in the Advanced Internet Technologies: Winter PhD School 2024 hosted by the i2CAT Foundation in Barcelona.
This five-day program brought together 16 doctoral students and postdocs from across Europe, delving into cutting-edge research areas like 5G/6G, IoT, AI, immersive communications, and cybersecurity. Attendees participated in insightful keynote sessions, research demonstrations, and networking opportunities designed to foster innovation and collaboration in advanced digital technologies.

– MohammadAli Hamidi shared: “HuTwin – Human Digital Twin Architecture for the Representation of User Emotions and Experience”
– Marco Garau introduced: “A What-If Analysis Model to Support MaaS Systems Performance Evaluation and Design”
The Winter PhD School was organized by i2CAT as part of TelecoRenta, a project under the UNICO I+D 6G programme, funded by the Spanish Government through NextGenerationEU. TelecoRenta promotes telecommunications engineering studies and focuses on attracting young talent, especially women.

Dal 25 al 29 novembre, i nostri dottorandi Gulnaz Bingol, MohammadAli Hamidi e Marco Garau hanno partecipato all’Advanced Internet Technologies: Winter PhD School 2024 ospitato dalla i2CAT Foundation di Barcellona.
Questo programma di cinque giorni ha riunito 16 dottorandi e postdoc da tutta Europa, approfondendo aree di ricerca come 5G/6G, IoT, AI, immersive communications e cybersecurity. I partecipanti hanno preso parte a sessioni di keynote approfondite, dimostrazioni di ricerca e opportunità di networking progettate per promuovere l’innovazione e la collaborazione nelle tecnologie digitali avanzate.
