Biographical Sketch
Alessandro Floris is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (DIEE), University of Cagliari (Italy). He received his M. Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering and his Ph. D. in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Cagliari respectively in 2011 and 2017. He was awarded a research grant from 2011 to 2013 in the DIEE, University of Cagliari. Alessandro Floris is a member of the Net4U Lab at the University of Cagliari, a member of the Italian University Consortium for Telecommunications (CNIT), and a member of the IEEE. His main research interests include Quality of Experience (QoE), Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Cities.
