The EJMC is glad to announce that
the Final will be held in Cagliari from 23 to 24 May 2024.
A more detailed programme will follow soon, but you can already organize your trip around the following approximate schedule. The opening ceremony will be held on 23 May in the late afternoon. On 24 May the competition will take place throughout the day.

Jean Monnet Climate Diplomacy Series #2023 – Second Edition

On May 27, 2023, within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair “European Climate of Change – REACT” of the Department of Political and Social Sciences, Faculty of Economics, Law and Political Sciences of the University of Cagliari will be held the Second edition of the  Jean Monnet Climate Diplomacy Series.

The JEAN MONNET CHAIR ON EUROPEN CLIMATE OF CHANGE – REACT is pleased to announce the 1ST Summer Courses on “Climate Change and International and EU Law/ The obligation of international cooperation on mitigation and adaptation to climate change” directed to students at large, PhD students, Erasmus and international students during which a mixture of traditional ex cathedra lectures will be delivered by academics and practitioners with additional activities that will include a half-day roundtable. The Summer Courses will be held in a hybrid format (in person and online via the teams platform) from 5 to 9 June 2023 in Cagliari, Italy in AULA MAGNA BAFFI, viale Sant’Ignazio 74 from 9to 17.30.

The Best Written Pleadings Prize of the First Edition of the EJMC was awarded to the University of Lisbon. The results of the oral phase will soon be published on our website.
The Best Written Pleadings Prize of the First Edition of the EJMC was awarded to the University of Lisbon. The results of the oral phase will soon be published on our website.
The Final took place in Cagliari from 17 to 19 April.
The Best Advocate General Prize was awarded to Francisca Nemeth-Trocado of the University of Lisbon.
The main competition winner is the team from the University of Cagliari, composed of Alina Cherri, Giada Floris and Szabrina Sanna.

Jean Monnet goes to School! #2023edition

On March 29-30 2023, the JMC REACT will launch the Second Edition of the initiative
“Jean Monnet goes to School! #2023edition” for and with primary and secondary school students, aimed at fostering sensitiveness on climate change amongst future European citizens.

The #2023edition will see the participation of the
Convitto Nazionale “Vittorio Emanuele II”, Cagliari.
