🔬 Group Overview

HTC research in the Berge lab centers on using the process as an innovative technology for transforming waste streams into valuable products. Work is focused on investigating how HTC systems perform across their full lifecycle, with an emphasis on understanding system-level environmental impacts and identifying opportunities to improve sustainability. In addition, work examines the functional uses and benefits of HTC-derived products, aiming to advance waste valorization strategies that contribute to circular resource management.
