As a non-governmental organisation, we want to make climate targets achievable. Our approach: converting biologically obtained residues into carbon (hydrochar and biochar) and storing them safely underground. Just as nature did 100 million years ago in the Carboniferous period. We want to mimic this natural process of carbon storage in order to sequester carbon on a large scale and thus mitigate climate change. Our way is networking to getting projects started and bring partners together to achive the goal of getting carbon out of the atmosphere under ground…

From our statutes: The purpose of the association is to promote environmental protection, including climate protection, and to promote science and research. In particular, the association pursues the goal of protecting people and the environment from the adverse effects of climate change caused by increased CO2 emissions and promoting carbon sequestration and storage. This should be realised in particular through: Activities to network scientific and practical expertise in the context of carbon sequestration. Reflection, development, further development and promotion of effective measures and facilities for the long-term sequestration of carbon dioxide in the form of carbon. Public relations work, promotion of public discourse in line with the purpose of the association.
