⚙️ In 2021, SoMax Circular Solutions won the United States Department of Energy Water Resource Recovery. DOE sought novel, systems-based solutions and technologies that improve efficiency and lower the cost of water treatment, while recovering valuable resources from municipal wastewater. SoMax brought their first commercial scale system online in 2023 at the Borough of Phoenixville, PA Wastewater Treatment plant. The HTC system can process 20,000 wet tons per year.
