The auditorium is here. From the main entrance of the Faculty of Engineering (here) you can go straight, pass across the small central garden and arrive directly to the Auditorium. A roll-up of the event will be easily recognizable just outside. From the hotel Regina Margherita, it is 32 minutes walking (nice walk, however). Almost the same route is also covered by line 10 of the CTM buses, but you can also take line 8, 5ZE or 6 (I suggest installing CTM Busfinder app, for Android or IoS) and follow google maps indications.
