Stéphanie Frau

She earned a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Charles-de-Gaulle in Lille III, France. She completed multiple clinical internships in adult and child psychiatry, and her interest in Health Psychology began during those formative years: she led assertiveness groups for individuals with psychiatric disorders undergoing rehabilitation and wrote an experimental thesis on the coping strategies of parents of patients with schizophrenia.

She completed her studies in Italy, where she graduated with honors in Developmental and Educational Psychology from the University of Cagliari (V.O). For her thesis, she conducted a pilot study on predictors of quality of life in patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus at the University Hospital of Monserrato. For qualifying purposes, she continues to work in hospital and community settings at the Oncology Division of the Monserrato University Hospital, the Integrated Home Care (ADI), and the Psychosocial Unit of Cagliari’s Local Health Authority (ASL) No. 8, with clinical and research activities.

For several years, she has worked with children and adolescents in schools, focusing on ensuring remote learning continuity and providing psycho-educational and relational support to students and families during the lockdown period.
