Noemi Fenu

She received her education at the University of Cagliari, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques Applied to Learning and Psychosocial Health, with a thesis in Developmental Psychology regarding sibling relationships, one of whom has a disability. During this university career, she completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Criminology and Forensic Psychology, and completed a training internship at the Department of Mental Health at Cagliari’s Local Health Authority (ASL) No. 8. From the same university, she earned a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology and Socio-Working Processes, with an experimental thesis entitled “Differently Equal. Comparing Relational Dynamics of Homosexual and Heterosexual Couples,” which was followed by the publication of “Is Everything OK in the Family? Dyadic Adaptation, Cohesion, and Conflict in Gay and Lesbian Couples” in the scientific journal “Psicologia della salute.” She is completing a training internship leading to professional qualification at the Department of Mental Health in Sassari. After passing the State Exam, she became a licensed psychologist and registered with the Order of Psychologists of the Sardinia Region with registration number 3011. She began working as a freelancer, continuing her education with a Master’s Degree in Specific Learning Disabilities, a Master’s Degree in ABA Methodology, a course for ABA Technicians, and additional training programs in psychology and beyond, such as the BLSD (Basic Life Support) course for adults and pediatrics. She currently focuses specifically on neurodevelopment, offering rehabilitation and psychological support to children, adolescents, and young adults. She also provides psychometric assessments (in collaboration with other professionals) and treatment for learning disabilities (SLD). In addition to her freelance work, she works in a residential and integrated community for the elderly, where she is responsible for the psychological development and management of human resources, organizational analysis, staff coordination/supervision, and client planning.

She volunteers as a psychologist at the counseling center for women victims of violence in her municipality of residence.
