Monica Ahmad
Psychologist registered with the Order of Psychologists of Sardinia – Registration No. 3127
She collaborates with the Department of Education, Psychology, and Philosophy at the University of Cagliari on several research projects related to intersubjectivity, parenting, attachment, and social psychology.
She is a teaching assistant in Clinical Psychology (SSD M-PSI/08) in the Degree Program in Primary Education Sciences at the Department of Education, Psychology, and Philosophy at the University of Cagliari.
She is co-author of several scientific papers on anxiety, depression, and parental stress, presented at the National Conferences of the Italian Psychology Association (AIP) and published.
She has participated as a speaker at conferences of the Italian Association for Child Mental Health (AISMI), presenting papers on bodily changes during pregnancy and their impact on the construction of maternal identity, as well as the quality of attachment bonds from a cultural perspective.
She participated in the Xmastreet Project, presented by the Department of Productive Activities, Tourism, and Equal Opportunities, under the patronage of the Municipality of Cagliari and the SUAP Cagliari, through the creation of creative and expressive workshops for children and adolescents.
She served on the organizing committee for the International Seminar “Intersubjectivity – From pregnancy to the real child: new directions in theory and research,” organized by the University of Cagliari and sponsored by the National Council of the Order of Psychologists (CNOP), the Order of Psychologists of Sardinia, and the Italian Association for Child Mental Health (AISMI).
