Mersia Gabbrielli

A psychologist specializing in school, educational, and clinical settings, she holds a degree in Developmental and Socio-Work Psychology from the University of Cagliari. She also holds a master’s degree in Specific Learning Disabilities, a qualification as a Professional Socio-Pedagogical Educator, and a University Specialization in Health Psychology.
Over the course of her career, she has developed extensive experience in individual psychological support for children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as in parenting support, providing targeted psychological support to caregivers throughout the various stages of the family life cycle, with a particular focus on managing educational, relational, and emotional difficulties.
She has worked as a specialized educator and as a special education teacher in secondary schools, enhancing her professional profile with specific expertise in educational and inclusive support. As a research fellow at the University of Cagliari, she participated in a study on the phenomenon of early school dropout.

During her specialist internships, she collaborated with various public and healthcare facilities, including the Psychiatric Diagnosis and Treatment Service, the Mental Health Center, and the Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry Unit. She gained solid experience in psychodiagnostic assessments, clinical care, and the delivery of psychotherapeutic interventions, developing an integrated approach to psychological support across the lifespan.
Her work also extends to the university setting, where she has collaborated with the University Psychological Counseling Service, contributing to the implementation of support, orientation, and prevention interventions for the academic community.
She works as a freelance psychologist in her own private practice and within the PRO-BEN MoEBIUS Psychological Counseling Service of the University of Cagliari.
