Francesca Orrù
Graduated with honors from the University of Cagliari in 2010. Between 2005 and 2010, she completed various internships in public and private contexts, gaining experience in research on the evaluation of organizational well-being and exploring topics such as expert witnessing in civil and criminal proceedings for the Juvenile Court (CTU). She completed a postgraduate internship at the Insight firm in Cagliari, participating in intercultural education, planning, selection, and training projects funded by the Sardinia Region. In 2014, after obtaining her qualification, she delved deeper into immigration issues through a training program aimed at perfecting the reception response. She collaborates with CEAIN Centro Acogida Inmigrantes, Jerez De la Frontera, on integration and sociocultural inclusion projects, focusing on migrant reception, needs analysis, information and orientation, support for access to social services, as well as educational and inclusion activities for minors. Upon returning to Sardinia, she began a valuable collaboration with a volunteer association, working as a psychologist consultant for the pre-departure assessment and orientation of exchange students. An ANPAS (National Association of Public Assistance) volunteer since 2009, she has deepened her experience and expertise, acquiring the title of emergency psychologist, also participating in activities related to the 2016 Central Italy earthquake emergency. Since 2017, she has worked for ANPAS Sardinia as area manager for the Universal Civil Service, dealing with planning, selection, training, orientation, and evaluation of skills and young people. She carries out information activities for the population on risk prevention and the adoption of correct behavior during natural disasters, and for the prevention of inappropriate behavior while driving and on the road. Over the years, she has continued her training, obtaining a second-level master’s degree in Listening to Minors in the Clinical and Forensic Fields at the Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences Auxilium in Rome. Since 2019, psychologist at the ANPAS Sardegna international adoption information desk and in adoption preparation groups.
