Debora Tronci
Debora Tronci graduated with honors in 2012 in Developmental and Socio-Work Psychology from the University of Cagliari, with an experimental thesis on the validation of the Prodromal Questionnaire, a clinical tool designed to identify prodromal symptoms of schizophrenia in young adults.
Between 2008 and 2014, she completed several internships in various settings, including hospitals (Child Neuropsychiatry, Mental Health Center, and Residential Care Home).
Since 2015, after obtaining her license, she began practicing as a psychologist at her practice in Giba, continuing her education over the years through ongoing training (training courses, master’s degrees, and intervention design).
She works with children, adolescents, and young adults with behavioral, emotional, and relational issues. She specializes in children and adolescents with learning disabilities (LD); provides guidance and support to young adults. She also provides parent training and parenting support. She promotes well-being in aging.
Creator of the slogan “Psychology is prevention and concrete help,” she has presented the “Psychologist at Your Home” project, a psychological support program for seniors and those with disabilities, in several neighboring municipalities (Giba). In recent years, she has collaborated with “Studi Aperti” – the Order of Psychologists – for the “Psychological Well-Being Weeks in Sardinia,” offering periodic free counseling sessions. She is currently enrolled in the School of Specialization in Health Psychology at the University of Cagliari.
