Claudia Leone

She graduated with honors in Clinical Psychology from the University of Padua in 2017 with an experimental thesis on the link between emotions and respiratory perception, conducted at the Health Psychology Research Group at the University of Leuven (BE). Between 2017 and 2018, she completed a postgraduate internship at the Psychiatry Department and the Mental Health Center of the Padua Hospital, where she focused primarily on diagnostic and neurocognitive testing, psychoeducational programs, and interview techniques for patients with affective disorders and psychosis. In the same year, she earned a Master’s degree in “Psychology of Aging and Longevity” from the University of Padua, which allowed her to complete an internship at a nursing home and write an experimental thesis on interventions to promote well-being and quality of life within the facility.

She currently practices as a psychologist at the Teulada Regional Educational Service, focusing her work on minors and families in vulnerable situations. She also carries out health and well-being promotion projects through collaboration with various associations, particularly those promoting active aging, preventing age-related diseases, screening and cognitive enhancement, cognitive stimulation therapy for patients with dementia, and caregiver support.
