Noemi Limbardi
Dr. Noemi Limbardi is a developmental psychologist with expertise in evidence-based educational treatment for children. She graduated with honors in Developmental and Socio-Work Processes Psychology from the University of Cagliari in 2019 with an experimental thesis entitled “A Study on the Development of Joint Attention and Skills in Children from 9 to 18 Months.” Previously, she delved into educational psychology, particularly in 2017 with her undergraduate thesis entitled “Bullying: Studies on the Teacher-Student Relationship.” From 2015 to 2017, she furthered her training in music therapy using the “Benenzon” model. In 2020, she began her training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) at the Suprazonal Center for Augmentative and Alternative Communication in Milan and Verdello, where she furthered her skills in intervening with individuals with impaired verbal communication. In the same year, she obtained the Diploma as a DSA and BES Tutor, recognized by the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) in accordance with Ministerial Directive No. 170/2016, which enabled her to enhance her intervention skills in the field of Specific Learning Disorders and Special Educational Needs, particularly ADHD. Between 2020 and 2021, she deepened her knowledge of psychodiagnostics through the training course “Tests as Tools in Psychodiagnosis, Assessment, and Psychotherapy” offered by the Italian Society of Integrated Psychotherapy. Her most formative professional experiences include the practical training internship between 2019 and 2020 at ATS Sardegna ASSL Cagliari, Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry Unit, where she actively collaborated with an interdisciplinary team. In 2021, she also provided training as a speaker for the modules on Autism and Emotional Intelligence in the “Young Mediators for Inclusion” course, part of the Erasmus+ project for the Diversamente ODV Association. She was a speaker at the 2021 National Seminar “Young Mediators for Inclusion” as part of the Erasmus+ project, with a presentation on new directions for the inclusion of individuals with autistic cognitive styles. She currently works as a psychologist in a private healthcare facility in Cagliari, where she focuses on Autism Spectrum Disorder and Specific Learning Disabilities, providing assessment, promotion, and prevention interventions to improve the well-being of individuals, families, and the patient’s living environments, such as schools.
