Francesca Colomo
A graduate of the University of Cagliari in 2014, she completed a postgraduate course in Perinatal Psychology at the University of Brescia. She is currently a member of the Italian Scientific Association of Perinatal Psychology.
She has worked in social work since 2009, providing educational interventions for minors in various contexts: individualized interventions, small and large groups at community centers, and schools of all levels. Since 2018, she has been offering psychological support and counseling to families in her private practice and for the Local Education Service of a small municipality in the province of Cagliari.
She focuses on promoting health during development, aiming to raise awareness that strong relationships with primary caregivers are the foundation of well-being. These relationships are based on empathic listening, trust in their skills from birth, recognition and acceptance of the need for contact and closeness, and education based on respect for one’s own emotions and those of others.
