Marta Lodi

Neuropsychological psychologist, registered with the Order of Psychologists of the Sardinia Region (nr. 3598). I am currently specializing in Health Psychology.

I earned my master’s degree in Neuroscience and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation (University of Padua) with the experimental thesis “A Driver Assistance System to Promote Safe Behavior While Riding a Moped: An Empirical Study.” This thesis won the Fifth Edition of the “Sandro Salvati” Road Safety Thesis Award in the Social, Communicative, and Humanistic category.

My interest in promoting road safety continued during my postgraduate internship at the Neuropsychology Clinic of Villa Salus Hospital (Mestre, Venice), where I was able to further my knowledge of neuropsychological assessments for driving license eligibility and/or renewal in various clinical populations (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, GCA, stroke, autism spectrum disorder, etc.).

Following further internships (Santa Maria Bambina Rehabilitation Center and Neuroradiology and Vascular Intervention Center of ARNAS Brotzu) and a Master’s Degree in Neuroimaging (G. D’Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara), I became interested in the combined use of diagnostic/neuropsychological testing and neuroimaging methods for the prevention of age-related pathologies (e.g., screening, cognitive enhancement, etc.).

I currently work with several sports associations, where I conduct physical activities in water with able-bodied individuals and those with physical and/or intellectual-relational disabilities.
