Francesca Muggianu
Psychologist registered with the Order of Psychologists of Sardinia (nr. 3606).
I graduated with honors in Developmental and Socio-Work Process Psychology from the University of Cagliari with a thesis entitled “Fear of Missing Out and Sociotropy as Predictors of Problematic Smartphone Use and Phubbing Behavior.” After graduation, I continued my research by completing a postgraduate internship at the Department of Education, Psychology, and Philosophy at Unica, where I also collaborated as a Research Grant holder for the PARIS project “Let’s Learn Equality at School” and for the project “Aster – Hunting for STEReotypes,” aimed at teachers and students of secondary schools in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari on the topic of gender stereotyping in schools.
I served as a tutor for the University of Cagliari’s Penitentiary Campus and collaborated on the ASOPO research project on burnout and sexual harassment among Penitentiary Police personnel in southern Sardinia.
I am currently a graduate student at the School of Health Psychology at the University of Cagliari.
