Silvia Caredda

She graduated in Developmental and Educational Psychology from the University of Cagliari in 2002 with an experimental thesis in forensic psychology on the topic of testimony in cases of child sexual abuse. She completed her professional internship at the Family Counseling Center in Selargius, participating in clinical work and the menopause and childbirth support group, as well as in emotional education projects in local schools. From 2006 to 2008, she completed a Master’s degree in Community Mediation at the Catholic University of Milan, completing a training internship at the social mediation centers of the Department of Catalonia, Spain. From 2008 to 2016, she worked as a project designer, project coordinator, and trainer at a training organization, carrying out activities such as parenting support, school and career guidance, counseling, skills assessment, and intercultural education, as well as training projects funded by the Sardinia Region. In 2009, she obtained the title of Peace Mediator, following the Sardinia Region’s Mediation Training Course, with an internship at the Amici dei Bambini headquarters in Bogota, Colombia. Since 2009, she has been a founding member of the Genti di Mesu Association, with which she carries out projects in intercultural education, diversity education, and intercultural socialization. In her various fields of intervention, she has integrated activities and methodologies from diverse fields, such as theater, trekking, and reading promotion, to foster personal growth and improve civil coexistence between individuals and groups.
