Training plan

The training activities provided by the School of Specialization in Health Psychology are divided into:

  • Educational training activities, which include:
    lectures, taught primarily by university professors. The total number of credits per year for lectures (L) is listed in the curriculum. Classes are held primarily on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The class schedule will be made available on the website. Classes will begin in early March 2025.
  • Professionalising training activities, which include:
    research and professional development activities, case discussions, and inter-disciplinary discussions. Professional training activities also include practical internships to be completed at affiliated institutions within the School’s training network, for a total of approximately 600 hours per year. The School Council is responsible for selecting the institutions within the training network. Any justified proposals for new agreements with institutions not included in the aforementioned training network will be carefully evaluated by the School Council based on the appropriateness of the training project. The total number of credits per year for the type of professional training activities is shown in the attached training plan.

Types of professionalising activities to be carried out over the 4 years:

  • individual discussion with staff and/or the relevant team of at least 80 individual, group, and/or community cases (at least 500 hours);
  • psychodiagnostic assessment and development of a treatment plan for at least 40 individual, group, and/or community cases (at least 350 hours);
  • at least 4 cases of psychotherapy-psychopromotion under expert supervision (at least 350 hours);
  • design, implementation, and evaluation of at least 2 community interventions related to prevention and the promotion of healthy behaviors and lifestyles (at least 300 hours).
