In the midst of the blue waters is the flat rock known as &#8216;Peppino&#8217;s rock&#8217;, with a shape resembling that of a huge turtle.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino,serif;font-size: 14pt\">The splendid little beach of Scoglio di Peppino (<em>Spiaggia di Scoglio di Peppino<\/em>) can be found 1.5 kilometers south of Costa Rei. It <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-977 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/sites.unica.it\/orbitaly2017\/files\/2017\/09\/scoglio-di-Peppino-Costa-Rei-fotografia-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/orbitaly2017\/files\/2017\/09\/scoglio-di-Peppino-Costa-Rei-fotografia-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/orbitaly2017\/files\/2017\/09\/scoglio-di-Peppino-Costa-Rei-fotografia-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/orbitaly2017\/files\/2017\/09\/scoglio-di-Peppino-Costa-Rei-fotografia.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>has a length of only 120 meters and faces south-east, featuring marvelous views of <em>Scoglio di Peppino<\/em> (Peppino\u2019s Rock), a natural extension of <em>Punta Santa Giusta<\/em>. In the far distance to the north, the mountains of the <em>Capo Ferrato<\/em> headlands compliment the beautiful scenery. Peppino\u2019s granite rock is the main attraction of this beach. It\u2019s about 30 meters long, and shaped like a big whale. It can easily be reached from the beach through shallow waters, and it is low and flat enough to walk on. Around the rock you\u2019ll spot some natural pools and small inlets.
