OrBItaly 2017<\/strong> will take place in Cagliari at the Fondazione di Sardegna<\/a>, in via San Salvatore da Horta 2. The site, built <\/span>at the end of the 19th<\/sup> century, is located in the historic center of Cagliari, close to the Castle district and the entrance to the Marina. <\/span><\/span>The historical events of the bulding are complex and little-documented. A document written by Canon Spano in 1861 locates the National Guard building on this place. <\/span><\/span>In 1912 the property was acquired by the local Cassa Ademprivile. Inside, the building is spread over three floors where the Fondazione di Sardegna<\/a> activities take place. Tradition and modernity meet in the elegance of an architecture which, thanks to the recovery sought by the Fondazione di Sardegna<\/a>, regains its centrality in the city context. Ground floor environments are functional to accommodate temporary and permanent cultural initiatives, conferences and debates in a bright and welcoming space. The place hosts a selection of works of art which relates the history of Sardinian art.<\/span><\/p>\n
