We are proud to announce that Prof. Luigi Atzori, scientific director of the Net4U lab, has recently been appointed Director of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Cagliari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Full Professor of Telecommunications, he has been conducting research in the fields of the Internet of Things and multimedia communications for years, with a particular focus on immersive technologies. With over 30,000 international citations, his scientific activity is recognized globally. He has held editorial roles in prestigious journals such as IEEE IoT Journal, Ad Hoc Networks, IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society and IEEE Communications Magazine, and has participated in numerous European research projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During his career, he has also coordinated the Master’s Degree Program in Internet Engineering (2018\u20132024) and is a founding partner of two spin-offs that deal with digital solutions for mobility services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con oltre 30.000 citazioni a livello internazionale, la sua attivit\u00e0 scientifica \u00e8 riconosciuta a livello globale.
