On July 9th and 10th, the kick-off meeting for the European HEAT project (Hybrid Extended reAliTy) took place at Sa Manifattura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project, coordinated by the University of Cagliari, is part of the Horizon Europe program and involves 15 partners from 8 different countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On July 9th, the proceedings were opened by Prof. Luigi Raffo, the Rector’s Delegate for International Projects. At the Welcome Cocktail on July 8th, held on the splendid terrace of Palazzo Tirso, the university’s governance (including Vice-Rector Prof. Gianni Fenu, Pro-Rector for Innovation and Territory Prof. Fabrizio Pilo, and the Director of DIEE Prof. Carlo Muscas, along with the organizers of the Net4U laboratory) welcomed the project partners from 8 EU countries<\/p>\n\n\n\n
HEAT’s goal is to create next-generation immersive experiences, where remote users can experience a fully immersive environment as if they were physically present, integrating technologies such as holography and Social VR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This high-potential project aims to open new frontiers in the field of technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il 9 e 10 Luglio presso Sa Manifattura, si \u00e8 tenuto il Kick Off del progetto europeo HEAT (\u00a0Hybrid Extended reAliTy).
Il progetto, di cui l’Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Cagliari \u00e8 coordinatore, fa parte del programma Horizon Europe e coinvolge 15 partner di 8 nazionalit\u00e0 diverse.
Il 9 Luglio, i lavori sono stati aperti dal prof. <\/a>Luigi Raffo, delegato del rettore in materia di progetti internazionali, mentre al Welcome Cocktail dell’8 Luglio, organizzato nella splendida location della terrazza di Palazzo Tirso, la governance dell’ateneo (con Il pro rettore vicario prof. <\/a>Gianni Fenu, Il pro rettore all’innovazione e al territorio prof. <\/a>Fabrizio Pilo, e il Direttore del DIEE prof. <\/a>Carlo Muscas, assieme agli organizzatori del laboratorio Net4U), ha dato il benvenuto ai partner del progetto, provenienti da 8 paesi della EU.
L’obiettivo di HEAT \u00e8 realizzare esperienze immersive di ultima generazione in cui gli utenti remoti possono sperimentare un ambiente totalmente immersivo come se fossero in presenza, integrando tecnologie come olografia e Social VR.
