{"id":2634,"date":"2023-10-30T17:56:58","date_gmt":"2023-10-30T16:56:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/?p=2634"},"modified":"2023-10-31T22:54:06","modified_gmt":"2023-10-31T21:54:06","slug":"national-centre-on-sustainable-mobility-most-spoke-on-mobility-as-a-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/national-centre-on-sustainable-mobility-most-spoke-on-mobility-as-a-service\/","title":{"rendered":"National Centre on Sustainable Mobility (MOST) \u2013 Spoke on Mobility as a Service"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>MOST &#8211; Centro Nazionale per la mobilit\u00e0 sostenibile<\/strong>&nbsp;through collaboration with&nbsp;<strong>24 universities<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>CNR<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>24 large companies<\/strong>, has the mission of implementing modern,&nbsp;<strong>sustainable and inclusive solutions<\/strong>&nbsp;for the entire national territory.<br><br>The lab is involved in Spoke 8 on MaaS (Mobility as a Service) which has the following objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify and integrate technological, economic and social drivers for fostering the ecological transition of mobility towards MaaS and other sustainable innovative mobility services to serve people and freight to <strong>reduce the use of private cars<\/strong>. The spoke aims at <strong>defining the standards guidelines to implement and deploy MaaS<\/strong> <strong>in Italy<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Definition of quantitative approaches and tools for a better understanding of users\u2019 travel behavior and habits, to <strong>define tailored attractive sustainable mobility solutions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of incentive and behavioral mechanisms to enhance <strong>MaaS efficiency and attractiveness.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a <strong>MaaS technological platform<\/strong> for managing effective interaction between supply and demand through architectures and network protocols for the orchestration of flexible and secure services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovative systems for collecting, fusing, and processing mobility-related big data, analysis and definition of <strong>data ethics and security<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Harmonization of multimodal traffic data<\/strong>, definition of logic and incentives for cooperation and development of Application Programming Interfaces for secure sharing of data between operators and users.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify mobility solutions for improving<strong> Equity, Social Inclusion and resilience of transport system <\/strong>to reduce the gap among territories, peripherical area and disadvantaged users.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify <strong>sustainable mobility solutions for tourism and in sensitive\/inner areas<\/strong> according to the systematic transport supply system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification of <strong>business models<\/strong> to support collaborative solutions between transport operators, tourism operators, users, and the environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Realization of an <strong>Observatory for systematic mobility travel demand<\/strong> with focus on school\/university related mobility at national scale (in collaboration to Education and Research Ministries) as well as for home-to-work trips (Public function Ministry);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Realization of a MaaS Living Lab with a real scale pilot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Techniques to improve context awareness and cooperation among transport users through communication, sensor data sharing, distributed machine learning to improve vulnerable users\u2019 safety and mobility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With a Lifelong Learning approach, in the three-year period the Spoke 8 will organize an itinerant <strong>International Summer School<\/strong> open to researchers, professionals and administrators on the topics of sustainable mobility and MaaS that will involve also international speakers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Based on the experience of previous editions, the spoke will also provide a MOOC training course about the topics addressed in the mentioned Summer School.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The contributions of the Net4U laboratory are the followings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Development of a multi-technology platform for the monitoring of people mobility (WiFi sniffing, analysis of video signals, analysis of channel state information)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Definition of the Digital Twin for the services integrated into a MaaS platform<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Study of governance models that stimulate the participation of different actors into the MaaS eco-system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project portal: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centronazionalemost.it\/eg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.centronazionalemost.it\/eg\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Budget: 1.5M \u20ac<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funding: MUR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Duration: 3 years (2022-2025)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Research Areas: <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/smart-mobility\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"929\">Smart Mobility<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/iot\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"269\">Internet of Things<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/xg-mobile-networks\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"678\">xG Mobile Networks<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/quality-of-experience\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1728\">Quality of Experience<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principal Investigator: <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/luigi-atzori\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1492\">Luigi Atzori<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"926\" src=\"http:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/files\/2023\/10\/MOST-1024x926.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2620\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/files\/2023\/10\/MOST-1024x926.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/files\/2023\/10\/MOST-300x271.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/files\/2023\/10\/MOST-768x694.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/files\/2023\/10\/MOST-250x226.jpg 250w, https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/net4u\/files\/2023\/10\/MOST.jpg 1295w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MOST &#8211;
