This is the site of the Instrumentation and Measurement Group at the University of Cagliari, I&M Group
The Instrumentation and Measurement Group has decades of experience in the definition, design, implementation and characterization of measuring devices and systems.
Measurements for Smart Grids, Synchronized Measurements and Multi-sensor Monitoring Architectures are among the main topics, developed also in research and technology transfer projects financed by public institutions (MIUR, RAS, etc.) and private organizations.
Among others, it is possible to mention collaborations with Terna (Italian TSO), for the use and characterization of the phasor measurement units (PMU) and with Ricerca sul Sistema Energetico – RSE S.p.A.
International collaborations are active with Universities, Research centers and Institutes of Metrology (among all it is possible to mention in particular RWTH Aachen, Forschungszentrum Jülich, Liverpool, INRiM and METAS) and with the DarkSide collaboration, dedicated to the detection of dark matter.

Il gruppo di ricerca di Misure Elettriche ed Elettroniche, Gruppo Misure, ha una pluridecennale esperienza su definizione, progettazione, implementazione e caratterizzazione di dispositivi e sistemi di misura.
Le misure per le Smart Grid, le misure sincronizzate e le architetture di monitoraggio multisensore sono tra le tematiche principali, sviluppate anche in progetti di ricerca e trasferimento tecnologico finanziati da istituzioni pubbliche (MIUR, RAS, ecc.) e organizzazioni private.
Tra le altre, è possibile citare la collaborazione con Terna (gestore della rete elettrica italiana in alta e altissima tensione) per l’impiego e la caratterizzazione delle unità di misura fasoriali (PMU) e con Ricerca sul Sistema Energetico – RSE S.p.A.
Collaborazioni internazionali sono attive con Università, Centri di Ricerca e Istituti Metrologici (tra tutti è possibile citare in particolare RWTH Aachen, il Forschungszentrum di Jülich, Liverpool, INRiM e METAS) e con la collaborazione DarkSide dedicato al rilevamento della materia oscura.
