Main Research field

Analysis of biosignals for the study of the autonomous nervous system activation in autistic children

Something about me…

During my course of study, the desire to learn more about signal processing matched my interests in the nervous system, leading me to choose a thesis project supervised by prof. Pani involving a team of neuroscientists and neuropsychiatrists. This experience has been challenging, giving me the opportunity to improve my skills and meet the world of scientific research. I received the B.Sc. degree in 2022, discussing a thesis entitled: “Analysis of signals recorded by Empatica E4 during neuropsychological tasks in children with autism spectrum disorders”. Currently, I’m studying for M.Sc. in Bioengineering at the University of Genoa (Neuroengineering and bio-ICT). Meanwhile, I have a research grant to analyze biosignals for the study of autonomous nervous system activation in autistic children.
