B.Sc in Biomedical Engineering – University of Cagliari
M.Sc. student in Bioengineering (Digital Healthcare) – University of Pavia
Main Research field
Electromyographic biofeedback aimed at the development of upper limb exercises.
Bluetooth low energy communication with wearable devices that allow monitoring of electrophysiological signals.
Something about me…
After pursuing a B.Sc. in biomedical engineering, I decided to continue my studies at the University of Pavia in digital healthcare, which allowed me to refine my skills in the field of bioengineering.
For my master’s thesis, supervised by Dr. Giulia Sedda and Prof. Danilo Pani, I’m working on an virtual reality-based application that provides visual feedback on upper limb muscle activity. For this purpose, I’m using Bluetooth Low Energy devices to collect electromyographic signals from the muscles and integrate them into the application.
Furthermore, my research grant is based on studying ways to conceive innovative technological solutions in my thesis’s field. I’m excited to continue exploring the potential of EMG biofeedback and to help people to achieve their health and wellness goals.
