The test data used in the LivDet Competition has been collected in compliance with EU GDPR (Art. 13) and Italian Legislative Decree 10.8.2018, n. 101. The data was gathered by the University of Cagliari as part of scientific research on biometric liveness detection, with explicit consent from all participants.\u00a0Fingerprints were acquired using electronic sensors and reproduced with various materials solely for research purposes. No personal identifiers are stored, and all data is encrypted and securely kept offline, accessible only to authorized research personnel. Participants retain the right to withdraw their consent and request data deletion at any time.
