All the applicants will have to submit an abstract to present their research topic, results, and goals via poster or oral presentation. Each candidate will be admitted to the Summer School after evaluation of his contribution and curriculum vitae.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The <strong>Summer School fee is 600 euros<\/strong> for young scientists*. The fee includes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><u>Accommodation in half-board <\/u>(breakfast and dinner included) at the conference hotel in a double room shared with another participant of the same gender, from the afternoon of 21st September to the morning of the 26th September.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> Single room accommodation can be asked (sujected to availability check) at the organizing secretariat at the registration time paying an extra-charge to the hotel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Conference registration<\/span> and lunches at the conference site<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><u>Welcome conference kit and abstract book<\/u><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><u>Everyday transfer<\/u> from the conference hotel to Sardinia Ricerche scientific park<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><u>Closing dinner\u00a0<\/u><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">including meals and accommodation in a double room with another participant\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">In addition, a maximum of 20 senior scientists will be admitted on request. The amount of each the travel grant will be decided according to the provenance of the student. Several travel grants are available from FEMS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The <strong>applicant for FEMS grant<\/strong> needs to be:<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2013 A member of a<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fems-microbiology.org\/nc\/member-societies\/fems-member-societies.html\">FEMS Member Society<\/a>, <span style=\"color: #000000\">confirmed by any officer of her\/his society,<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2013 Less than 36 years of age at the closing date of the meeting.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2013 An active microbiologist.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2013 A presenting author of the abstract.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">If you
