Meteosat Second Generation

Meteosat Second Generation is geostationary satellite constellation in orbit 36’000 over the equator.

It provides 12 spectral channels at spatial resolution of 3km (1km only for the SEVIRI channel) and a temporal resolution of 15 minutes.
