The team has strong expertise in thermal treatment processes, including hydrothermal carbonization (HTC), covering key aspects such as process modelling, scale-up from laboratory to industrial applications, and industrial plant layout design. Their work also includes detailed energy and mass balance analysis, as well as comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to evaluate the environmental performance of treatment systems. This integrated approach is complemented by competencies in economic and business engineering and social science.
