In addition, the faculty offers programmes and research in food technology, materials and textile engineering, supporting applied research and industry collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><div class=\"table-responsive\"><table class=\"table  table-striped table-bordered table-hover\"  class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td>\u2699\ufe0f<br>Department of chemical engineering conduct research on hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) and hydrochar production using laboratory and bench-scale reactors (up to 10 L). Our work focuses on the conversion of invasive plant species, insect biomass, and fruit-processing residues into functional hydrochar, including process optimization, material characterization, and
