Abstracts should be maximum 2 pages (500 words of text plus one page of figures and tables) and written in English. Abstract preparation must follow the GE2014_Abstract_Template. Submission must be made through the form at the end of the page.

Following the GE tradition, submission of contributions by young researchers is strongly encouraged and a specific plenary session will be dedicated to contributions submitted and presented by young reseearchers as defined by SIR call (Scientific Independence of Researchers, MIUR): researchers that have been awarded their first Ph.D. within 6 years to the start date of the conference. The review process will be carried out by the Scientific Committee made of the representatives of the GE Scientific Areas.
Oral presentations will be arranged in 4 main tracks, the above mentioned “Young Researchers” track (Wednesday 18th June) and 3 parallel tracks (Thursday, 19th June) inspired by the pillars of Horizon2020 programme: Excellent Science, Leadership in Enbaling and Industrial Technologies, Societal Challenges. Authors are encouraged to propose their contribution to one or more of the above mentioned tracks: the final choice will be made by the Scientific Committee. The poster session will be held in a time slot on Thursday 19th June morning and during all coffee breaks and lunches.
Abstracts will be published, in electronic form, on a volume with ISBN code and will be available on-line through the veprints service of Università di Cagliari, indexed on Google Scholar, Worldcat, OAlster, openDOAR, Scientific Commons and BASE.
